Five days into the new year and already I’m seeing people KILL it! *insert round of applause* for everyone doing their thing!
The only problem is not EVERYONE feels like they’re doing their thing.
Honestly, its easy to look at what everyone else is doing around you and start to get the comparison bug…. You know, the one that tells you you’ll never be able to catch up, or do enough… or my personal fav BE ENOUGH. Yea, the thought of not being enough has probably killed more dreams than anything else in this world. But heres the thing, I can’t talk to you guys about being enough, without talking to you about trust issues. Which if we are honest with ourselves, most of us have.
When God first gave me a vision for my life, and what He was calling me to do, my first thoughts were absolutely, how sway? What in the world do you see in little ol’ me that makes you think I have what it takes to do what you’re asking me to do?
and that was the first sign of my trust issues LOL.
Even though deep down I wanted it all to be true, I didn’t trust that He had picked the right person for the job. I felt like perhaps there was someone out there who knew more, and was more qualified that I was. I know Im not the only one whose felt this way so I wanted to share a few things that I’ve learned along the journey that will help you with Your own trust issues. Below is my top 10 ways things to remember to help build your trust and strengthen your faith.
- You Don’t Have To Know Everything, But you Do Have to Use What You Do Know.
This is a big one, many times we are so focused on what we don’t have and what we don’t know
and we forget to use what we do have. Take a moment and take inventory of the skills and
knowledge that you do have. - God Fills In The Gap
The great thing about doing what God called you to do is that, He will fill in the gaps for you. When
you do all that you know how to do, he will always pick up the slack. Remember, if he called you to
it, He will get you through it. - God is not Man That He Should Lie
Sometimes we have a tendency to treat God like we treat man. We’ve been let down so many times
by people, that we have an expectation of disappointment with God. Unfortunately, this is a double L,
because many times, you don’t get what you deserve, you get what you expect. - If you Trust the What You Have to Trust The Why
I know we want our success and we want it like yesterday. But the truth is that success comes with a
weight, that if you haven’t built up the strength to carry, it can do more harm than good. You have
to be okay with the timing of your life. A blessing in the wrong season can become a curse. - Every external success started with internal success
Its good to work on your physical body, but don’t forget to build up your insides. By that I mean, how’s your
thought life? What books are you reading, what things are you listening to? How are you making sure that
you are growing inside so that it has no choice to manifest in the physical reality? What you see in your
life is always a reflection of whats happening on the inside of you, so stop looking at other peoples external
success as a marker of where you should be.
So thats my list. Doable right? Comment down below what are some practices you have in order to build your trust and your faith? Or drop a line and let me know which of the 5 tips you’re going to start using right away.
Can’t wait to hear from you guys

This is so true. You have to have faith and trust the process. I know I definitely get anxious. I always want to know everything. lol But I’m learning more and more to trust that everything always works out the way it’s supposed to in the end!
